Matt Davies of Warrington Wolves celebrates crosses for a try

Here are the 21-man squads for the midweek action in Super League.

Salford v Warrington, Tuesday, 5.30pm

Warrington coach Steve Price has made wholesale changes to his squad to face Salford in Super League on Tuesday, just four days before the same two go head-to-head for a place at Wembley.

No fewer than nine academy products are included by the Wolves, with several in-line for first team debuts, including reserves captain Kyle Shelford.

Salford have named just 17 players in their squad, though recent additions Tom Gilmore and Oliver Ashall-Bott may well be added after they were registered ahead of the transfer deadline prior to the weekend.

Salford 21-man squad: Ackers, Atkin, Burke, Greenwood, Ikahihifo, Inu, Jones, Kear, Lannon, Lolohea, McCarthy, Mossop, Ormondroyd, Pauli, Watkins, Williams, Yates.

Warrington 21-man squad v Salford: Akauola, Ashton, Brand, J Clark, Davis, Dean, Doro, Johnson, Kibula, Latu, Longstaff, Murdoch-Masila, Oakley, Patton, Ratchford, Robson, Roebuck, Shelford, Thewlis, Walker, Wrench.

Wigan v St Helens, Tuesday, 7.45pm

It had been hoped that the derby between Wigan and St Helens would be played in front of fans at the DW Stadium, and instead there is a different narrative.

With St Helens not in Challenge Cup action, they are virtually at full strength – while Adrian Lam has one eye on the Warriors’ semi-final date with Leeds at the weekend.

Injured Mark Percival drops out for Saints in one of two changes, but Lam has made 10 changes to his squad, that could see Umyla Hanley, son of legendary Ellery, make his Wigan debut.
