Venue for League 1 match this Sunday still TBC

Hunslet are still waiting to hear where their match at North Wales Crusaders in the League 1 Shield will be played this Sunday.

The Crusaders usual home at Queensway Stadium is unavailable this weekend due to an athletics meet, and the club has been working hard to find an alternative venue.

A Hunslet statement stated that they expected to have confirmation by last night (Tuesday), though no further information has been released.

It is understood that Crusaders had made the RFL aware of the situation prior to the release of the League 1 Shield fixtures.

The fixtures for this phase of the season were only revealed a fortnight ago.
