Tasi banned for Super 8s opener

Salford forward Lama Tasi will sit out their Super 8s opener at Hull on Friday.

Tasi, 27, has been handed a one-match ban after pleading guilty to a Grade B charge of striking with the shoulder.

He was put on the report for the incident in the first half of Sunday’s Challenge Cup semi-final defeat to Wigan.

Elsewhere in front of the disciplinary panel, Wigan hooker Sam Powell took an Early Guilty Plea earning him a one-match suspension.
