Workington Town‘s relegation to League 1 has been confirmed after a 62-0 smashing at the hands of Sheffield.

Garry Lo and Quentin Laulu-Togagae grabbed hat-tricks in the 11-try victory at Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park.

The Eagles had seven different try-scorers, with Cory Aston kicking nine goals.

The defeat means Workington will drop down a division next year with the club bottom of the Kingstone Press Championship Shield table with 13 points.
