Salford appeal referred to independent body

Salford’s appeal against its six-point deduction for salary cap infringements will be heard by independent body Sport Resolutions.

The Red Devils had asked for their case to put forward in front of an independent entity.

The RFL has allowed this. Sport Resolutions are based in London and bills itself as the “independent, not-for-profit, dispute resolution service for sport in the UK”.

Sport Resolutions handled the FA vs John Terry case and the UK Anti-Doping vs Jonathan Tiernan-Lock case.
