Peacock wants to improve links with Aussie agents

Hull KR head of rugby Jamie Peacock has made improving his contacts with Australian agents a priority in his new role.

Although Rovers have already filled their overseas quota spots for 2016, Peacock is taking a long-term view.

“This is one of the areas where I do need to get better at but I can do that over the next year or so,” Peacock told the Hull Daily Mail.

“I think one of my successes as a player has been the ability to understand what I’m not good at and where I need to get better. That’s certainly one of those I need to strengthen on.

“You’ve always got the opinions of your mates you have played with from there, but it’s also now a matter of me establishing myself with the Australian agents more than anything and letting them know who I am and what we’re about at Hull Kingston Rovers.”
