Walmsley, Wood and Aizue charged

St Helens prop Alex Walmsley has been charged with making a Grade C shoulder charge on Luke Robinson of Huddersfield Giants during Friday’s clash at the John Smith’s stadium.

Paul Wood of Warrington has been charged with Grade B striking on Wigan Warriors player Eddy Pettybourne during last Thursday’s game.

In the Championship, Dewsbury Rams forward Makali Aizue has been charged with making a Grade C shoulder charge in the play-off game with Workington Town.

Wood and Aizue have until 11am on Tuesday September 16 to submit Early Guilty Pleas (EGP). Walmsley does not have that option, and will appear independent disciplinary tribunal on Tuesday evening.
