Chris Bridge in Swinton squad

Chris Bridge has been included in the Swinton squad to face Dewsbury at Leigh Sports Village on Sunday (3pm).

The centre, 28, on dual registration from Warrington, will make his first appearance of the season following an operation to fix tendinitis in his knee.

He will replace Gene Ormsby in the squad which is otherwise unchanged from the line-up which won at Keighley last week.

“We are hoping to build on last week’s performance against Keighley when we defended well and took our opportunities when they arrived,” said player-coach Ian Watson.

“We are expecting another tough game because Dewsbury have started the season well but we have been working hard in training and will be ready for Sunday.”
