Rule the new CEO at Hull FC

Hull FC are delighted to announce that James Rule has been appointed as Chief Executive as part of a management restructuring at the club.

David Plummer takes up a position as Finance Director as Rule moves from his role as Commercial Director.

28-year-old Hull born Rule will become the youngest CEO in the Super League era and admits he is relishing the opportunity.

“It is a privilege and an honour to have been made Chief Executive of Hull FC, Rule said.”

“We have a hugely talented playing squad, coaching team and administration staff and I am looking forward to working with that talent. Everyone at Hull FC is focused on the continued development of the club both on and off the field as we collectively strive to take Hull FC to the next level''

Hull FC Chairperson Kath Hetherington added: “This is the next step in the progression of our business. It allows David and James to concentrate on their respective strengths to move the club forward.”

David Plummer, said: “The club has made significant progress over the past few years and can now be regarded as a viable sustainable business."

Last year James Rule became the first Hull-born director of the club since the merger with Gateshead Thunder six years ago.
