Leeds Rhinos hooker Danny Buderus will appear before the RFL Disciplinary Committee on Tuesday following an incident in Sunday’s Engage Super League play-off game against Wigan Warriors.

Buderus has been charged with a Grade A offence for a dangerous throw on Warriors prop Paul Prescott in the 30th minute of Sunday’s 27-26 victory against Wigan Warriors at the DW Stadium.

The Australian international was charged after the incident was reviewed by the RFL Match Review Panel earlier today.

Wigan Warriors duo Joel Tomkins and Chris Tuson received cautions after Tomkins kicked out at Rhinos half-back Danny McGuire in the 38th minute and Tuson made dangerous contact on Rhinos player Chris Clarkson in the 60th minute of Sunday’s game.

The cautions were issued following a meeting of the RFL’s Match Review Panel earlier today and will remain on both players’ disciplinary records for consideration in the event of future incidents.
