A jekyll and hyde performance from Parramatta saw them come from behind to edge past Canberra 18-16.

A Jarryd Hayne intercept try sparked the Eels to life as they came from behind to defeat the Raiders 18 points to 16 tonight at Parramatta Stadium. From Terry Campese’s 40/20, Joel Monaghan split the Paramatta defence to race under the posts.

The Raiders lost David Milne to the sin-bin but the Eels could only muster a try to Eric Grothe Jr, leaving Canberra ahead 6-4 at the interval.

The Raiders upped the anti after the break and registered scores through Jarrod Croker and Joe Picker but a late interception score from Jarryd Hayne just about saw the Eels home.
