North Wales Crusaders have completed the signing of former Super League and NRL winger Patrick Ah Van.

The 33-year-old arrives at the League 1 side on a deal until the end of the season.

A former Samoa international, Ah Van has most recently been a part of the French Elite 2 Championship with Villegailhenc Aragon (VARL).

He notably made 123 appearances and scored 95 times for Widnes across two spells, returning to the club in 2019 to play for free when the Vikings went into special measures.

Ah Van started his career in the NRL with New Zealand Warriors, making a half-century of appearances before joining Bradford in 2011.

North Wales begin their League 1 campaign away at London Skolars on May 8.
