Moon banned for one game

Leeds centre Joel Moon has been suspended for one match.

Moon, 25, submitted an Early Guilty Plea to the Grade B charge of making a dangerous lift on Hep Cahill of Widnes in last night’s 38-28 win for the Rhinos.

This means that Leeds coach Brian McDermott will have to add Moon to an ever-growing list of unavailable players for his side’s next Super League game against Huddersfield on Sunday.

The likes of Brett Delaney, Kevin Sinfield, Danny McGuire, Kylie Leuluai, Ryan Bailey, Carl Ablett and Kallum Watkins are already out due to injury.
