Lebanon skipper Robbie Farah will return to Wests Tigers for the rest of the 2018 season.

Farah, who played 247 games for the Tigers between 2003 and 2016, has signed a new contract with the club until the end of the current season.

Following his exit from South Sydney Rabbitohs, the hooker or half-back will begin training with Wests this week and will be in contention for their game against Gold Coast Titans on Sunday, July 1.

Tigers coach Ivan Cleary is over the moon to welcome Farah back to the club.

He said: “I look forward to welcoming Robbie back home to Wests Tigers this week.

“Robbie brings a wealth of experience back to the club in a position where we feel we need some additional support at this stage of the season.

“All of my discussions with Robbie have been very positive, he understands the direction that the club is heading in, and how he can help contribute to that.”
