League One side Keighley have turned to Championship neighbours Bradford for the signing of prop-forward Bradley Ho on a season-long loan.

Ho came through the ranks at the Bulls, and earned a first-team deal in 2021 after impressing in a brief stint for the reserves in 2020.

In 2021, he went out on loan to Coventry, and made 11 appearances for the club in League One. He then returned to Bradford early and made two appearances in the Championship against Swinton and Toulouse.

In November, he signed a two-year contract with the Bulls, keeping him there until the end of the 2023 season.

Ho will wear the number 32 shirt during his stint at Keighley.

As well as this deal, Keighley have also announced they have entered a reserve dual-registration partnership with the Bulls.

This would see Keighley players potentially get the chance to play for Bradford in the Reserves Championship.

Ho to add “different dynamic” to Keighley

Reacting to the move, Director of Rugby Andrew Henderson told the club website:“Brad has come through a good system with Bradford and has already gained experience playing in League One previously which helps.

“After doing our due diligence and watching him play recently in Bradford’s pre-season friendlies, Rhys (Lovegrove) and I felt he was the right type of player and person to bring to the club. and we thank Bradford for supporting this.

“Brad is a strong ball carrier and is effective in the contact area, but as with every young player he has areas to develop in his game which we feel can be achieved in our performance environment.

“He will definitely add a different dynamic to our pack and will be challenging our current middle unit for a position in this team.”
