Titans boosted by duo’s return

Injured Gold Coast duo Scott Prince and Nathan Friend are set to make their return from injury, after being named in the team to face North Queensland.

Prince (hamstring) and Friend (shoulder) will line up for the Titans on Friday evening.

Prince missed last week’s golden point victory over Canberra while Friend is set to make his first start of the year after undergoing surgery in the off-season.

In other team changes, livewire Luke Capewell will replace Greg Bird at five-eighth after he incurred a one-match suspension for a Grade 1 striking charge out of the Raiders game while utility Luke O’Dwyer has been named on a five-man interchange bench.

“We’ll get Friend back and hopefully we’ll get Prince back so that’s two real positives for us,’’ said Titans coach John Cartwright.

“Birdy will be missed, I thought his last two games have been really good, but we know now that he’s not going to be there so we’ve got another training session this week to get ready for it.
