Swinton have signed Glenn Riley from Warrington on loan until the end of the season.

And the promising 19-year-old prop is in contention for a place in the 17 for the Championship clash against Featherstone Rovers at Leigh Sports Village on Sunday (2pm).

“Glenn is very highly rated by Warrington and we are delighted to have him on board at Swinton,” said Lions director of rugby Paul Kidd.

“He will give us more depth in our pack and experience at this level will eventually help him find a pathway into the first team at Warrington.”

Swinton’s televised home game against York City Knights at Leigh Sports Village has been switched to Sunday, May 6, at noon.

The game was originally due to be played on Saturday, May 5, but has been rescheduled for screening on Premier Sports.

Swinton’s Carnegie Challenge Cup fifth round tie with Huddersfield will be played on Sunday, April 29, at the Galpharm Stadium (3pm).
