Second Voice of the Fans rugby league day announced

The second annual Voice of the Fans rugby league day will be held on Saturday October 17 in Huddersfield.

A number of high profile speakers will be attending, including referee Phil Bentham, the RFL’s Marketing Director Mark Foster and Greg Mulholland MP.

The theme of this year’s event, to be held at Huddersfield University’s Heritage Quay, will be the celebration of 120 years of rugby league.

There will be informative and interactive workshops including heritage, community involvement as well as a workshop getting back to the basics of Supporters Direct’s key mission; To help supporters trusts be as representative and as relevant as possible in the sport and help fans of RL benefit from a closer relationship between clubs and their fans and communities as well as providing a much needed direct link between supporters and the game.

In the afternoon delegates will be given the chance to take part in a lively Q&A session around the New Era, introduced this season, where they can ask our panel chaired by Matthew Horton of Radio Yorkshire and including Greg Mulholland MP, Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group, Mark Foster and Phil Caplan, Journalist, Author and Publisher all the current burning questions!

Attending delegates will be offered the opportunity to purchase tickets for the France International match for just £5.

Prices for the event are £8 for members and £10 for non-members if booked before 1st October 2015.
