King cautioned for fighting

Warrington Wolves centre Matt King has received a formal caution for fighting in his team’s Engage Super League Preliminary Semi-final defeat by Huddersfield Giants at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

King was cautioned for punching Huddersfield Giants prop Darrell Griffin in the 74th minute of Saturday’s 34-22 defeat.

The caution was issued following a meeting of the RFL’s Match Review Panel on Monday and will remain on the player’s disciplinary record for consideration in the event of future incidents.
