Huddersfield and Widnes both make three changes

Huddersfield and Widnes have made three changes each ahead of Friday’s huge clash.

Giants interim coach Chris Thorman has made three changes to his side that lost at Warrington Wolves last week. Olly Russell and Jake Wardle could make their first team debuts, while Matty English comes back into the side. The trio replace Jared Simpson, Aaron Murphy and Oliver Roberts.

Denis Betts has made three changes to his Widnes squad that lost to Wigan Warriors last time out. Aaron Heremaia, Charly Runciman and Wellington Albert replace Owen Farnworth, Ed Chamberlain and Ted Chapelhow.

The Super League fixture takes place at the John Smith’s Stadium on Friday, 7:45pm kick-off.
