There was a lot of debate on social media over the weekend as to who was the best try finisher in Super League, and we want to know your thoughts.

Tom Johnstone scored an outrageous try in Wakefield Trinity’s 22-12 win over Catalans Dragons last Thursday, which then sparked debate on social media as to who was the best finisher in Super League.

The England international has scored 68 tries in 80 career appearances.

St Helens winger Tommy Makinson also boasts a fine reputation for being a good finisher, with the England international coming up with a number of fantastic finishes over the years. He holds a trademark flying finish into the corner.

Makinson has scored 114 tries in 207 games to date.

Castleford Tigers flyer Greg Eden also gained a lot of mentions in the debates on Twitter over the weekend as well.

Many have said Eden is one of the most unfortunate players not to play for England on the international stage.

Eden has made 132 career appearances, scoring 103 tries.

Warrington Wolves winger Tom Lineham also got a few mentions when the question was asked about who is the top try finisher in England.

Lineham is a fan favourite at the Halliwell Jones Stadium and has scored 132 tries in 179 games so far.

We want to know what you think…
