Profile
Height: 6ft 3in
The fullback started his career in 2010 for Featherstone Rovers, spending just the one season with the club.
His debut campaign was stellar, scoring a hat-trick on his debut against Hunslet. In total, he scored 22 tries in 14 games and was named Championship Young Player of the Year.
Hardaker joined Leeds Rhinos for a fee of around £60,000, but had to wait until March 2011 to make his debut for the club.
His first season for the club ended on a high, scoring a try in the Grand Final as Leeds beat St Helens 32-16.
He became a more important member of the Rhinos squad in 2012; he was named Super League Young Player of the Year as they retained their title.
Hardaker was a part of the Leeds squad that won the 2014 and 2015 Challenge Cup, as well as earning a call-up to the England squad.
He was named as the 2015 Man of Steel, the first Leeds player to claim the accolade since 1998.
After a decline in Leeds’ form in 2016, Hardaker submitted a transfer request and joined Castleford Tigers in November on a one-year loan.
He made the move permanent in June 2017, but was suspended for drug offences in September of that year. His contract was terminated in February 2018.
Once he had completed his suspension, Hardaker signed a four-year contract with Wigan Warriors.
