Profile
Ta\'ai played for the University club when he moved to Auckland, New Zealand and made the Auckland Rugby Union second XV. The following year he switched codes and joined the MT Albert Rugby League Club and played in the Auckland Rugby League competition and in 2009 he played for the Auckland Vulcans in the NSW Cup.
New Zealand Warriors signed Ta’ai in 2009, he made his debut trial game against the North Queensland Cowboys and he made his first grade debut in round two against the Manly Sea Eagles. He scored his first try for Warriors against Penrith on 17th April.
He re-signed for the Warriors in 2012 but was told the club would release him at the end of the year.
On 12th September 2012 he signed with Huddersfield Giants until 2015 but his transfer was held up by red tape until January 2013 when he was granted a British work permit.
