Michael McIlorum is considered one of Wigan’s most valuable up and coming talents. His interplay with Kiwi Tommy Leuluai is at times unstoppable has devastated Super League defences.Mike joined the Warriors as an under 18 in the academy in 2005 and he ended his first season on a high scooping the Wigan Supporters Association Under 18’s Player of The Year award.Mike was the only Warriors player to play in every single one of Wigan’s 2011 fixtures.He is one of the club’s most consistent performers and his quality was recognised by England coach Steve McNamara who selected him for the 2011 Gillette Four Nations.
