After a successful loan spell, Kevin Brown signed a three-year deal with Huddersfield Giants in 2006. The St Helens-born player earned his first call up to the Great Britain team in 2007, whilst at the Galpharm Stadium. The versatile centre had many admirers at former club Wigan Warriors, notably coaches Stuart Raper and Ian Millward. He has been on the fringe of representative squads throughout his career and played for the England Academy in 2002. He finally became a first team regular for the Warriors in 2004 but, despite signing a new contract the next year until 2007 he decided to make his loan spell at the Galpharm Stadium before his contract had ended. He currently has scored 18 tries in 72 games for the Giants and has made a total of 145 Super League appearances in his short career so far.
