  Moore signed with Leeds Rhinos at the age of 17, featuring with their academy sides for three seasons. In 2009 he had a month’s loan spell with Halifax where he made just one appearance and scored a try. He followed this up with another loan move to York City Knights where he played 9 games. In 2010 Moore signed with Batley Bulldogs where he scored 3 tries in 5 games and featured in the Bulldogs Northern Rail Cup win. In April 2011 it was announced that Moore would sign for Super League side Wakefield on a two year deal effective immediately. Moore made his senior squad debut against Salford City Reds the day after his 22nd birthday. He scored two conversions during the game. He went on to play four more games during the 2011 season and racked up an impressive scoring tally of 14 conversions, one try and a drop goal across his 5 appearances.
