Height: 5ft 11in Flower began his career playing rugby union, representing the Newport Gwent Dragons before switching codes. He started his league career at Crusaders in 2008, becoming an integral part of their side in the Super League. After the Crusaders departed the top division, Flower moved to Wigan for the 2012 season. His second season at the Warriors was stellar, establishing himself as a key member of the side that won the double in 2013. In 2014, Flower became the first player to be sent off in a Grand Final. He was dismissed in the second minute of the game against St Helens for punching Lance Hohaia twice. Wigan lost the final, and Flower was banned for 6 months by the RFL.
