Paul Prescott, like many of the current Wigan talents started his career for local amateur side Wigan St Pats.
The Warriors successful Junior Development Scheme has spawned an abundance of local talent throughout the years and Prescott is a fine representation of that.
Unfortunately in 2005 the brutality and intensity of playing in the prop forwards caught up with Paul, and a serious knee injury kept him out of action for a year.
Paul made his return in 2006 but in a Challenge cup game against Wakefield he suffered a detached retina and did not come back until the following year.
2010 was a strong season for Prescott who made 21 appearances and registered 2 tries. Despite his giant stature Prescott covered 1750 metres proving he has the engine to mix it with Super Leagues elite.
