Kirk Yeaman progressed through the Academy at Hull and soon became a first-team regular. He played in the 2005 Challenge Cup final win over Leeds and in the 2006 Super League Grand Final defeat to St Helens. He was Hull’s top try-scorer in 2006 and in 2008. Also in 2008 he played in the Challenge Cup final against St Helens, scoring two tries. Yeaman received a call up to play for England in the 2008 World Cup but opted to stay at home because his wife Lisa was expecting their second child.
