Your Life in League: Alan Kilshaw

In the second of our Periscope TV series we sat down with Rochdale Hornets coach Alan Kilshaw.

We spoke to Alan about his background in rugby league, his time as a player in St Helens‘ junior ranks, his move into coaching and his stint in Australia. We touch on his new role as head coach of League 1’s Hornets, his education in the game and his plans for the season ahead.

Alan has coached with Warrington and the England Academy side, before spending three years in Queensland with the Mackay Cutters and Sarina Crocodiles. At the end of 2015 he was appointed to take over at Rochdale.

Each month we’ll endeavour to bring you interviews with interesting characters in ‘Your Life in League’.
