Young Wiganer joins Robins

Young Wigan Warriors centre Josh Charnley has today joined Super League rivals Hull KR on a one month loan deal with immediate effect.

Charnley has impressed recently in the Warriors Valvoline Cup side which has included him scoring two hat-tricks in the teams last two competitive fixtures against St Helens and Harlequins.

The 19 year old was given a Warriors squad number for 2010 but as yet is still awaiting his first team debut.

Speaking about the loan move Wigan Warriors Head Coach Michael Maguire said, “This is a great opportunity for Josh to gain some vital match experience at another Super League Club. Hull KR approached us about taking him on loan, he is player with a promising future and it is a good move for all parties.”
