Young half-back set for Cas debut

Castleford are set to hand a debut to young half-back Ben Johnston in this weekend’s Super League clash against London.

Johnston, 20, joined the club two years ago after a spell in the club’s scholarship programme, and played his amateur rugby for local side Lock Lane.

He has been on a dual-registration contract with Championship side York City Knights this season, and replaces Rhys Williams in the Tigers squad.

Winger Williams has returned to Warrington following the end of his loan spell.
