Young French outside-back re-signs with Toulouse

Toulouse have announced the re-signing of Mathieu Jussaume for the 2021 Championship season.

Jussaume, 21, has scored 11 tries in 23 appearances for the French outfit.

He also made one appearance for France at the 9s World Cup against Wales.

He said: “It is a great pleasure to continue next season with Toulouse Olympique. We are more motivated than ever to reach our Super League goal.”

Club president Bernard Sarrazain added: “Training young Treizers to go together towards the Super League, as we are doing with Mathieu, is an integral part of the club’s project. He worked hard and knew how to take his chance – and how – when it presented itself. His resignature is logically part of the continuity.”
