York Challenge Cup tie switched

York City Knights can confirm that their Carnegie Challenge Cup third round match with Northumbria University will be played at the Huntington Stadium on Sunday 6th March 2011, with a 3pm kick off.

Northumbria University were originally drawn at home for their first ever match at this stage of the competition, but have agreed to switch the game to York’s Huntington Stadium as their current home ground (Bullocksteads Sports Ground) does not meet RFL standards for this level of competition.

Both teams have agreed to a cut-price Admission for the match, which will be ￡10 for Adults and ￡5 for U16′s, and season ticket holders will get in for free.
