Yeaman expects big things from Pryce and Sneyd

Hull FC centre Kirk Yeaman believes that Leon Pryce and Marc Sneyd will add the kind of game management and experience which will help the Black and Whites improve.

The former England international thinks that the Airlie Birds have been lacking that kind of ability in the halves for a while.

“What let us down last year was our game management. In the tight games, you need that craft and experience and our management wasn’t the best,” he told the Hull Daily Mail.

“Leon has come in and he’s got bags of that, plus Marc has an outstanding kicking game which we’ve missed.

“We need to work on our combinations in training and it is tough with a new half-back pairing coming to the club. But training has gone well so far and they are clicking.

“Hopefully, that will continue and come the pre-season games in January you will see a different Hull FC side.

“Leon has so much experience and what he brings is second to none, while Marc has shown this year the talent he has.

“I’m looking forward to getting a chance to play alongside them and hopefully score some tries next year.

“Radders has done really well with his recruitment. We’ve already got Jordan Rankin, who I thought had an outstanding first season at the club, and to add Leon and Marc to that, it’s really good recruitment.”
