The World team have defeated the Indigenous side 12-8 in the NRL All Stars game in Brisbane.

In an open and entertaining match, goal-kicking proved to be the difference with both outfits scoring two tries.

The bit hits came early, Marty Tapow involved in the opening stages.

On 32 minutes Kiwi centre Konrad Hurrell broke the deadlock from dummy half.

Leilani Latu responded for the Indigenous All Stars just before half-time. The World All Stars took the lead back through Fijian flyer Semi Radradra.

A try to Indigenous winger Dane Gagai put them back in the lead but the World team held on to get the win, their first in the last three All Stars matches.
