It’s dangerous business writing Wigan and St Helens off at home, but this weekend Warrington look like the only Super League side who will win.

The World Club Series kicks off at the Halliwell Jones Stadium tonight and the Wolves are odds on favourites to beat the travelling St George, which is justifiable.

Whilst the Dragons do have the likes of Benji Marshall, Josh Dugan and Jason Nightingale in their ranks, they are one of the weaker sides in the NRL, despite only finishing two points shy of the play-offs in 2014.

Home advantage and a solid start to the Super League season should give Warrington the platform for a battling victory.

On Saturday however the narrative could be different. Wigan are odds on favourites against a Brisbane side who have disappointed in recent NRL seasons, but this time it is the Broncos who look value for the win.

New signing Anthony Milford is fast becoming one of the most exciting talents in the game, and alongside Ben Hunt and Justin Hodges he can really hurt the Wigan defence.

Brisbane also have an experienced pack that will be able to deal with a big atmosphere at the DW Stadium, so at 13/10 with My Club Betting they are an attractive price.

In the showpiece match at Langtree Park it is also hard to look past the NRL side, as current champions South Sydney are desperate to win the World Club Challenge for the first time.

The Rabbitohs have lost two of the Burgess brothers in Sam and Luke but they still have more than enough power to cope with St Helens.

It should be a close game but there is too much class in Michael Maguire’s squad, and the former Wigan coach should be celebrating another historic Souths triumph come Sunday.

A Warrington, Brisbane, South Sydney treble with My Club Betting is just over 4/1.
