Workington recruit overseas player

Championship side Workington have signed their first overseas import for a number of seasons with the capture of forward Latu Fifita.

Fifita, 27, is the brother of twins Andrew and David, who both play in the NRL for Cronulla.

A prop or second-rower, he joins the Cumbrian club from Northern Pride in Australia, where he played under former Wakefield and Widnes utility Jason Demetriou.
