Warrington Wolves have launched a new charity shirt in support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Former Warrington assistant coach Paul Derbyshire suffered from the disease before dying last year.

The Wolves will play in the specially designed shirt (left) during their home Super League tie against Leeds Rhinos on Sunday, June 10, which is on sale now at the club’s retail store. A training top (right) is also available to purchase.

Ben Sharpe, corporate fundraising officer of MND Association, said: “The MND Association is thrilled and excited to be working with Warrington Wolves this season.

“The support of such a sporting giant is vital for us to help achieve our vision of a world free of MND, with their support and that of their supporters we will be able to help local people living with, and affected by the disease.”

Warrington Wolves supporters and fans of rugby league can show their support by texting a donation by sending WOLF01 plus the amount to 70070.
