Wolves game cannot come fast enough, says Manu

According to Willie Manu, Hull FC’s game against Warrington Wolves this weekend is the springboard Hull need to back to winning ways.

Manu returned to club duty from a week with the Exiles to find his teammates focused on making amends for a recent slip in results.

With Hull seeking their first win in four weeks against a side who have lost one in their last six, the Tongan knows Hull will be in for a hard game but feels they can rise to the challenge.

He said, “Warrington are a top side and we know we will have to put in a much better performance if we are to win. There is no room for complacency against them, they are a top of the table team and that sort of test it probably what we needed right now.

“We haven’t been on the money mentally over the past few matches and we’ve become a bit complacent towards the end of games. That’s not acceptable, but we are determined to learn our lesson from it.”

Hull FC currently lie in sixth place, level on points with St Helens and Huddersfield Giants but with a game in hand.
