Witt makes NRL return with the Dragons

St George Illawarra have signed dual-code utility Michael Witt for the 2014 season.

Witt, 29, joins the Dragons on a one-year deal after five seasons away from the NRL.

Between 2003 and 2008, Witt had stints with Parramatta, Manly and NZ Warriors before switching codes to play for New Zealand Rugby Union side Otago.

The playmaker then returned to rugby league with Super League side Crusaders in 2010, before a move to London for the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
