Wildie carried off in Fev win

Featherstone hooker Matty Wildie was stretchered from the field in Rovers’ 32-16 win over Leeds Rhinos.

Wildie was hurt in the first half and carried off the field after receiving treatment.

The injury was the only low point for Featherstone who were too strong for an inexperienced Rhinos outfit.

Rovers dominated Leeds, who were filled with Under-19s and fringe players, early but had to hold off a fast finishing effort from the visitors in the second half.

Featherstone led 18-12 at half-time and scored two late tries right before full-time to blow the score out somewhat.
