Wildcats snare Halley

Wakefield Wildcats have signed winger Dave Halley on a months loan from Bradford Bulls.nnThe short-term move will provide the Wildcats with cover for injured duo Matt Petersen and Ryan Atkins.nnHalley enjoyed a successful 2008 campaign with the Bulls but the close-season signing of Rikki Sheriffe cast doubts over his place in the first-team. nnBradford coach Steve McNamara explained that the deal will give Halley, a Welsh international, some early season game time.nn”The deal suits both Dave and Wakefield as well as us at this moment in time,” he told the Telegraph & Argus.nn”He needs to be playing at the start of the season and his prospects of starting at Wakefield are very good.”nnThe 22-year-old is set to make his Wildcats debut in Sunday’s friendly against Doncaster.
