Wildcats sign Crusader Lee

Wakefield have signed hooker Tommy Lee from Crusaders RL on a two year deal.

The 22 year old junior international spent all of last season at the Welsh club after moving from his hometown team of Hull FC in which he made 68 appearances scoring 5 tries during a four year spell with the club.

Lee is strong in defence and possesses the ability to move well from dummy half; Lee was part of the 2008 Hull FC team that made it to the Challenge Cup final.

Wildcats Head Coach John Kear said: “Tommy is a player with unfulfilled potential and we are confident that whilst at the Wildcats he will blossom into an outstanding pivotal player.  Tommy fits the Wildcats 2011 recruitment policy of young british players with something to prove.”
