Wigan are waiting for news on captain Sean O’Loughlin’s calf injury.

O’Loughlin, 30, missed the defeat to Hull FC on Friday, having picked up the knock in the Challenge Cup final the previous weekend.

Head Coach Shaun Wane told the club’s official website: “He is down in London having a scan today (Monday) so we will know more after that, hopefully it will be good news but I won’t know more until we hear back from that.”

O’Loughlin has made 20 appearances for the Warriors this season, and is likely to be a part of Steve McNamara’s England World Cup squad, if fit.
