Wigan have recalled winger Shaun Ainscough from his loan spell at Castleford.
Ainscough, 20, has scored four tries in seven appearances for the Tigers since his short term switch, which followed a previous three game spell at Championship side Widnes.
After picking up a couple of injuries, Wigan boss Michael Maguire has exercised his right to recall the prolific winger.
Castleford coach Terry Matterson said: “I’d like to thank Shaun for his time at the club and wish him well for the future. Wigan have lost a couple of players so need him back with the club.
“At this stage we are not able to say whether there is the possibility of his returning to the Jungle in the future but with James Evans and Kirk Dixon back in action, and the continued development of Jordan Thompson, we are better placed in the threequarters than in recent weeks.”
Ainscough has scored 25 tries in 22 professional appearances since making his debut for Wigan in Super League last season.
