Wigan on course for London return

Wigan Warriors chairman Ian Lenagan has confirmed that the club remains on course to play another home game in London in 2016.

It also looks likely that the fixture will once again be staged at Millwall FC’s The Den ground, where a crowd of 8,101 watched the Warriors play Catalans in 2015.

“We’re close to it,” Lanegan told Wigantoday.net.

“We need to speak some more but we need want it to be a regular season game, rather than a Super 8s game, because it would give us more time to market the game and sell tickets.”
