Wigan Announced Season Ticket Packages

Correspondent

Wigan Warriors have today unveiled their 2007 season ticket packages and are delighted to announce that prices have been reduced in most categories.

The club have taken the unusual step as a thank you gesture to their fantastic supporters, who helped the club achieve an average attendance of 14,464 during the engage Super League XI season.

Buying a season ticket makes sound financial sense compared to buying individual match tickets, with savings up to £73 for adults and £98 for juniors.

Match day admission prices increase by £1 and range from £14 to £18 for adults, which is still amongst the cheapest in the competition.  Adult season tickets start at just £121 and primary-aged juniors are available from only £32.

With demand for tickets set to increase further in 2007 following the appointment of Brian Noble as Head Coach and a number of new and exciting signings including Aussie stars Trent Barrett and Phil Bailey, the only way to guarantee a ticket and the best available seat is to purchase a Warriors season ticket.

Marketing Director Simon Collinson said:

"Our fans have been fantastic and to thank them for their loyalty we are proud to announce that most season ticket prices will be lowered for 2007.

"Wigan Warriors season tickets offer the most affordable way of watching the Warriors in action throughout Super League 12.  In addition to the great savings which can be made, further discounts are available by purchasing one of our family season tickets.  We also realise that not everyone can afford a season ticket in one payment, and therefore we will continue to offer a direct debit payment scheme which allows supporters to spread the cost of their season ticket over six manageable instalments.

Collinson finished:

"Buying a season ticket for Wigan Warriors not only gives a guaranteed ticket to watch live explosive rugby action at the JJB Stadium; the spine tingling atmosphere and our Great Night Out entertainment package also offers an exhilarating day out whether on your own, as a family or in a group with friends.  Along with a number of exclusive benefits, season ticket holders will receive entry into a free prize draw.  We encourage everyone to become part of an exciting future and urge them to take advantage of the great season ticket offers for 2007."

Season tickets are now on sale although existing season ticket holders will be given until 3rd November to renew their seat before the price deadline and reserved seats are released for general sale on the following Monday.

Season tickets are available from the JJB Stadium Ticket Office and Ticket Hotline on 0870 11-22-552, with renewals available online at wiganwarriors.com/etickets
