League leaders Wigan were silenced by a stunning second half comeback by struggling Harlequins at the DW Stadium.

Wigan looked set for their eleventh win in 12 outings this season when they led 24-6 at the break, but Brian McDermott’s side blew them away after the break to win 38-26.

The biggest Super League crowd of the season saw tries from Liam Farrell (2), Cameron Phelps and Joel Tomkins seemingly give Wigan a commanding advantage, despite David Howell‘s reply for the visitrs.

But a brace from Luke Dorn at the start of the second half brought Quins back in to contention, before Pat Richards kicked a penalty to put Wigan 26-18 to the good.

However, Will Sharp, Rob Purdham and Chad Randall all crossed to complete a memorable comeback for Quins and send Wigan crashing to their second defeat of the season, which also came after throwing away a commanding half time advantage against Bradford.
