Wigan 2023 squad numbers: Harry Smith to wear shirt number seven
Wigan have today confirmed their squad numbers for the 2023 Super League season, with Harry Smith to wear the number seven shirt.
The 22-year-old takes the number from Thomas Leuluai, who retired at the conclusion of last season to join the coaching staff at the Warriors.
There are also two new changes in the centres with Toby King and Jake Wardle receiving shirt numbers three and four respectively. Iain Thornley has been given shirt number 21.
Morgan Smithies will take the vacated number 13 shirt, with the club confirming the departure of John Bateman earlier this week.
Jai Field takes the number one shirt for the first time, with Bevan French moved to number two following his new two-year deal.
Patrick Mago will wear shirt number 20 in 2023, with Liam Byrne handed the number 10. Tom Forber joins the first-team squad with shirt number 29.
